While I may have said that I was leaving the forums due to a recent "issue", I thought about it and found that it would be very contradicting of me. If I, in fact, don't care what some of you think of my posts and opinions, why would I leave?

to sum up the whole thing:

- i called someone out for not listening to a mp3 before posting
- a misunderstanding was born
- the orig thread poster is a douche
- people piped in and said my comments/replys are always negative
- i compared myself to simon cowell as far as qualities of criticism
- the thread WOULD NOT DIE
- i got pissed and decided to leave the forums...for less than a day

there you have it.

oh, and another thing, the "orig thread poster" has already stated in another thread he was "trying to make a premium rapidshare account quota" (whatever that means). so my theory of just posting random crap without listening to it first is actually a pretty valid assumption.

Well what I can gather from what I've read is that some people can be a bit 'touchy' over specific things, and some people take other members for granted and don't appreciate what some users have to offer!
I had a similar fall out with 2 certain members and their attitude towards a post I made, which from their point of view wasn't good enough; and I got annoyed as I put a lot of effort into the post...but I've come to get used to the fact that some people on here are simply extremely disrespectful and they are just not worth the effort.
If you create a post, there is no way 100% of the members who read the post are going to agree with you or even like the post; but those people who don't throw their toys out the pram and create an issue, completely out weigh those who like the attention and make issues!

yea some said Im not appreciative..which baffles me..there are many times I come on this forum on Im like OMG WOW.

then there are other times that i say, "reupped, credit to google search" (for example)

i get what you are saying.

and now that the situation seems to be done, i can say perhaps I was a bit rude. but it was only out of frustration. and the principle behind what all i had to say is still there, be it rude or coated with cupcakes, glitter and flowers.

I got over it and appreciated the fact that people really crave quality...but it has been proven that 320kbps is pretty unnecessary and that 192kbps is the highest noticeable quality! I wouldn't have minded if they went about it without being so rude! Nevermind, eh!

lol i dont care...just consider this thread as a conversation...convos never stick to one subject.

and i agree 320kbps is all in all unnecessary; wasted memory. whatever sounds good through my subwoofer and takes up less memory space is A-OK with me! :wink:
