Too many stickies in album section!!! lol
I am not complaining here, just trying to add constructive criticism that is a little bothering. So, please don't go all over me about it, b/c it isn't that big of deal, I am just addressing it b/c they ask for feedback. There are too many stickies in the album section!!! There's like 10! I won't name names of some albums, but what is the criteria for a sticky? I agree w/ a lot of them, but there are one or two that make it seem, "Why isn't every other album a sticky?" Also, there are so many stickies right now that the entire first page is composed completely of them! It's kind of like a music store, where you are told what to buy. If something is good, it will continue to be bumped. If it isn't, it won't right? That is how theoretically it should work. Ok, that is my constructive criticism of the month. Not complaining.

seems reasonable enough. when do you think the sticky should be pulled? 2 weeks? til the thread slows down? the criteria i used for a sticky is whatever is asked for the most usually makes it. also, i tend to pick stuff i'm liking the most as well. sure the mods follow similar.

i don't think there should be a time limit. just by feedback i guess and response. but, i would agree that after 2 weeks it isn't "breaking" new

2 weeks seems reasonable. i'll clean up the stickies now.

albums are stickied for a month but yeah if 2 weeks is enough. thanks for the comment :>

the stickies usually dont bother me, so Im fine

how about like soundfiends do new singles/albums sub forums entitled LQ/Webrips/Re Encodes ?? that would stop webrip/retail clash sticky's

I think it would be best a put a time limit on a thread being sticky. Like making it sticky for 1 week or 2 weeks, and than un-sticky it.

Sorry, I know this is an old topic, but maybe the threads should be un-stickied when they're released?
